Udo Werner studied law in Jena and Frankfurt/Main. A graduate from Harvard University, he started his professional career with McKinsey & Company. In following years he became a member of the managing board of mid-sized stock companies and was particularly responsible for the areas of business strategy, mergers & acquisitions, human resources, law and finances. In a managing position, he very significantly shaped the reorientation of the state-owned holding company of the German state of Thuringia.
As member of the managing board of TU Dresden AG, he is responsible for central functions as well as the business of thirteen subsidiaries. Udo Werner was admitted to the bar in 2005. As Of Counsel, he advises our clients in the field of venture capital/private equity.
