Heliathek, the globally leading producer of organic photovoltaic, has raised EUR 80 million of fresh capital in order to extend their production volume to an annual capacity of 1 million square metres. The financing consists of equity capital amounting to EUR 42 million, loans of EUR 20 million, and incentive funds amounting to approximately EUR 18 million.
The financing round was led by innogy SE, one of the leading European energy companies. The other new investors include, among others, ENGIE, BNP Paribas, and the CEE Group – an investment company belonging to Lampe Equity Management, which is specialised in renewable energies.
