GRUENDEL Rechtsanwälte advises Zeilenwert on acquisition of Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels e-book division
Effective 1 September 2015, Zeilenwert GmbH has acquired Libreka GmbH, the product of a spin-off of the e-book division of Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels. The parties signed the purchase agreement on 31 July 2015.
Zeilenwert will continue to operate the “libreka” brand, including the associated technology, as an independent division and is setting up new offices in Frankfurt for this purpose.
The transaction is considered a ground-breaking move in the e-book distribution field.
