Happy New Year!
GRUENDELPARTNER is opening another office in Erfurt to mark the start of the new year 2025. The new location in Thuringia’s capital will help us strengthen our regional presence in Thuringia, particularly within the SME sector, the high-tech and start-up scene, and the financial sector.
We are launching our ‘Erfurt Project’ at the KrämerLoft – an urban co-working space – and are delighted to be right in the heart of the start-up community.
GRUENDELPARTNER will no longer be operating its previous office in Jena.
We are also expanding our partner team: from 1 January 2025, Dr Franziska Beier, a qualified lawyer, will be joining us as a salary partner. Franziska has been with us for five years and specialises in corporate finance, venture capital/private equity, M&A and commercial/distribution law. She is a specialist lawyer in commercial and company law and advises, in particular, large regional VC and SME funds as well as start-ups.
At our Leipzig office, we are also expanding our IT law expertise from 1 January 2025 with the appointment of Mr Marius Hundt-Matthies, a lawyer. Marius specialises in information technology and data protection law and, alongside his law degree, obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in data protection/IT law from the Universities of Hanover and Málaga (Spain). Prior to joining GRUENDELPARTNER, Marius worked as a research assistant in data protection law at the University of Leipzig.
“We are delighted to be able to further strengthen our core competencies in the new year and to start the year with fresh vigour and a strong drive to succeed, thanks to our new office in Thuringia, the expansion of our team of experts and the appointment of another internal partner,” said Dr Mirko Gründel (Managing Partner).
“The new year brings us many more innovations: a new corporate design, the digitalisation of numerous internal and external processes, the expansion of our expertise and the increased use of legal tech solutions – exciting times that we are very much looking forward to,” adds Dr Steffen Fritzsche (Head of IT/Legal Tech).
