Our periodic system

Franziska Beier studied law and business law at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and the University of Oslo. She completed her legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Naumburg, including clerkships at an international media group and a large international law firm. At the latter, she began her legal practice alongside her doctoral studies on a corporate law topic.

Franziska Beier joined our practice groups Commercial/Distribution and Corporate Law and M&A, Venture Capital/Private Equity, Corporate Finance as an Associate in 2020 and since 2025 as a Salary Partner.

Burkhard Boemke has held the Chair of Civil Law, Labour Law and Social Law at the University of Leipzig since 1997. He has an outstanding academic and practical reputation, particularly in works constitution and staff representation law, temporary employment law and numerous special areas of individual labour law. He has been the managing director of the Institute for Labour and Social Law at the University of Leipzig since 1998. In addition, Prof. Boemke has been continuously active as chairman of various conciliation committees in the field of works constitution and staff representation law as well as in numerous arbitration boards since 1999.

Prof. Boemke has been supporting us as Academic Counsel in complex labour law issues since 2023.

After completing her law studies in Jena, Aysha Bousabarah completed her legal clerkship with placements at the Chamber of Foreign Trade in Riga and the German University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer. In 2019, she began her professional career as legal counsel at one of Germany's largest online pharmacies. Since 2025, she has been working as legal counsel for a leading global healthcare service provider. In line with her professional specialisation, she is completing a part-time master's degree in pharmaceutical law.

Aysha supports our Leipzig office in the areas of life sciences and healthcare.

After completing his studies in Halle/S. and London and working as a lawyer in Malaysia and Australia, Steffen Fritzsche began his legal career at a law firm in Hamburg and moved to a medium-sized law firm in Leipzig in 2009, where he played a key role in the M&A, Venture Capital/Private Equity, and Corporate Finance practice group.

As Partner, Steffen Fritzsche has been significantly involved in financing and M&A transactions in the technology and industrial sectors for many years. He also has extensive expertise in international commercial contracts.

Mirko Gründel began his legal career in 2000 at an international law firm (Leipzig, New York) and has been working as a founding partner of our law firm and its predecessor companies since 2002.

With over 400 transactions under his belt, he has been focusing on Commercial and Corporate Law, Venture Capital/Private Equity, and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) for 25 years.

Since completing her training as a legal assistant at GRUENDELPARTNER in 2024, Jessamyn has been supporting us in the Media, Competition Law and Corporate Law practice groups, working alongside partners Dr Albrecht Tintelnot and Ralph Schmidkonz. Her work focuses on deadline management and accounting, among other things. 

Juliane Hennig has been working as a legal assistant in the Corporate / Venture / IT department since 2022.

As a trained legal assistant, she has extensive experience in providing administrative and organisational support to our lawyers and tax advisors.
Juliane is an essential part of our law firm management and is involved in the coordination, structuring and monitoring of internal and external administrative processes. She also provides operational support to several partners and professionals and is in particular responsible for money laundering documentation and IT administration.  

After completing his law studies at the University of Leipzig, Bertan Heper completed his legal clerkship at the Chemnitz Regional Court. During this time, he worked in several departments at a large international law firm. After completing his clerkship, he began practising law in 2024 and has been strengthening our labour law practice group ever since.

Marius Hundt-Matthies studied law at Leibniz University Hannover. At the same time, he earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Hannover and at the University of Málaga (Spain) in the field of IT law and intellectual property law. Mr. Hundt-Matthies completed his legal clerkship in the Free State of Saxony. At the same time, he conducted research on data protection issues as a research assistant at the University of Leipzig. After passing the second state law examination in 2024, Mr. Hundt-Matthies joined GRUENDELPARTNER and has been supporting us in the field of IT and data protection law since January 2025.

Sophia Köster completed her law studies at the University of Leipzig, followed by a legal clerkship at the Dresden Regional Court.

After several years as a research assistant at GRUENDELPARTNER, Sophia began her legal career in July 2025 and has since been supporting our Practice Group M&A, Venture Capital / Private Equity, Corporate Finance and Company Law.

Licensed to practice law in Cologne in 1973, Peter Krüger began his legal career at the law firm Berthmann und Scherff. In 1990, he joined the interregional law firm Gaedertz Vieregge Quack Kreile (later Mayer Brown and Norton Rose) as a partner and founded the Leipzig office, which he managed until 2001. Until 2010, he was a partner at KPMG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft and led the Leipzig office of KPMG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft; between 2012 and 2015, Peter Krüger was Of Counsel at the law firm Mohns Tintelnot Pruggmayer Vennemann.

He is the author of several academic publications in the field of foundation, liability, insurance, and corporate law.

Since 2016, Peter Krüger has been advising our clients as Of Counsel on corporate law, banking law, and foundation and association law.

Ramona Luckner began her career after completing her studies in Bochum in 2000, initially as an audit assistant at a national audit and consulting firm, before working as a tax advisor from 2004 and as an auditor from 2007 for two national, multidisciplinary consulting firms.

As Partner, Ramona Luckner leads our Tax Law practice group since 2015. She advises our clients on all matters relating to corporate tax law and also works as a certified public accountant. As a member of our M&A, Venture Capital/Private Equity, Corporate Finance practice group, she also handles the tax law aspects of corporate transactions.

Reghina Neborac completed her master's degree in accounting and auditing at the University of Chernivtsi (Ukraine) and supplemented her qualifications with training as a tax clerk in Leipzig. She has since brought her professional experience to our team and supports our clients in the areas of financial accounting, payroll accounting and the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns.

Stefan Pietzsch studied law and political science at the universities of Passau, Dresden, and Leipzig. After completing his legal clerkship in the district of the Dresden Higher Regional Court, he worked for several years as a research assistant at the Chair of Banking and Capital Market Law. Stefan Pietzsch began his legal career in 2018 at a medium-sized law firm in Leipzig, where he worked primarily in the areas of corporate law and insolvency law.

Stefan Pietzsch joined our M&A, Venture Capital/Private Equity, Corporate Finance Practice Group in 2023.

After studying law first in Dresden and then in Jena, Jakob Ritter completed his legal clerkship in Leipzig.

He joined our M&A, Venture Capital/Private Equity, Corporate Finance, Corporate Law, and Commercial/Distribution practice groups in 2019.

Ralph Schmidkonz is a founding Partner of our law firm. After completing his legal education in Munich and Atlanta (US), he began his career as a lawyer in 1989 at an international law firm, where he played a key role in establishing its Leipzig office until 2001. Since 2002, he has been representing and advising major press publishing houses, among others, on all specialist issues. As one of the most renowned lawyers in this field in central Germany, he heads our IP, Media, and Competition Law practice group.

Steffen Tietze is a founding partner of our law firm. After completing his training in Leipzig and Glasgow, he began practising law in 2000 at an international law firm. In 2002, he founded a medium-sized law firm in Saxony together with Mirko Gründel, Ralph Schmidkonz and other partners, and has successfully headed its labour law department from the start.

Steffen Tietze's legal practice focuses on individual and collective labour law. He heads our labour law practice group.

After completing his legal education in Göttingen, Kiel, and Guildford (Surrey, UK), Albrecht Tintelnot began his legal career in 1990 at the interregional law firm Deringer Tessin Herrman & Sedemund (later Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer) and moved to Leipzig in 1991. From 1995, he was a partner at the law firm Tintelnot & Partner. From 2001 to 2015, Albrecht Tintelnot was a name partner at the law firm Mohns Tintelnot Pruggmayer Vennemann. He is the author of numerous academic publications.

Albrecht Tintelnot joined our law firm in 2016 as an Equity Partner and advises private and public companies and corporations on all matters of commercial law. His practice focuses on corporate and insolvency law, the privatization of public services, and environmental law, particularly water law issues.

Udo Werner studied law in Jena and Frankfurt am Main. A graduate of Harvard University, he began his professional career at McKinsey & Company. As a board member of medium-sized stock corporations, he was later primarily responsible for corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, human resources, legal affairs, and finance. He played a key role in managing the realignment of the Free State of Thuringia's state-owned investment company.

As a member of the board of TU Dresden AG, he is now responsible for central functions as well as the business of thirteen subsidiaries. Udo Werner was admitted to the bar in 2005. He supports our Erfurt office, particularly in the area of Venture Capital/Private Equity.

Katja Winter completed her training as a legal assistant in 2005 in Dresden at a medium-sized law firm. She qualified as a certified legal specialist (geprüfte Rechtsfachwirtin) in Leipzig in 2009.

Katja joined our team in 2015 as a Legal Assistant in the Corporate / Venture / IT department. In addition to providing operational support to several partners and professionals, Katja has been an integral part of our law firm management for many years and plays a key role in the areas of accounting, procurement, external communications, human resources and internal organisation.  

Kristin Zehmer completed her training as a legal assistant in 2024 at a medium-sized law firm and has been working with us ever since as an assistant in our Labour Law practice group led by Steffen Tietze.

In addition to supporting the solicitors, her responsibilities include invoicing, monitoring deadlines and managing appointments.
