The Bielefeld-based start-up DigitalErleben GmbH, with its AI platform ‘paddy’, has successfully completed a pre-seed funding round in the seven-figure range. The High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) acted as lead investor.

Paddy is an AI platform that supports teachers throughout the entire teaching cycle. Founded in 2024, the company has developed a solution that helps teachers cope with the overwhelming demands of everyday school life. Paddy eases the burden of planning, delivering and reviewing lessons, and supports teachers in providing individualised support to their pupils. With over 12,000 active users (teachers) after just six months, Paddy is well on its way to transforming education in the DACH region with its AI platform.
