A majority of the active named partners in the firm of Mohns Tintelnot Pruggmayer Vennemann (MTPV) will join the Leipzig office of GRUENDELPARTNER along with other lawyers as of 1 January 2016.
Dr. Albrecht Tintelnot and Frank Vennemann are among the most recognised and award-winning lawyers in eastern Germany. Both had worked since the early 1990s at the firm that was then called Deringer Tessin Herrman & Sedemund and founded the firm of MTPV in 2001 along with other partners. MTPV will be dissolved as of 31 December 2015.
Dr. Albrecht Tintelnot advises private and public companies and institutions on company law and insolvency law, the privatisation of public companies, and issues involving environmental and water law. Frank Vennemann’s fields of expertise are real estate law and company law, particularly in connection with acquisitions and privatisations. He also focuses on hospital law.
Along with Albrecht and Frank, who are joining GRUENDELPARTNER as equity partners, other professionals will be joining the firm, including in particular Dr. Peter Krüger as of counsel. Peter is one of the most outstanding lawyers in Saxony. In 1990 he joined the firm of Gaedertz Vieregge Quack Kreile as a partner, and opened their Leipzig office, which he managed until 2001. Until 2010 he was a partner at KPMG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft and managed the Leipzig office of KPMG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft; since 2012 he has worked at MTPV. His practice focuses on company law, banking law and foundation and association law.
