PREMIUM acquires majority stake in colour parts

As part of its continued growth strategy, colour parts GmbH has sold a majority stake to funds managed by PREMIUM Equity Partners. GRUENDELPARTNER advised the previous lead investor WMS Wachstumsfonds Mittelstand Sachsen (WMS) on the structuring and implementation of the transaction. The previous shareholders (including WMS) remain invested through a substantial re-investment.

Founded in 2003, color parts GmbH operates modern production facilities in Cunewalde and Kodersdorf (Saxony) and is a leading provider of high-end coating and surface finishing. The company specialises in high-quality wet coating for small to medium batch sizes and serves customers from the premium and luxury segment, including in the areas of sanitary design, writing instruments, medical technology and automotive. Together with the management and WMS, PREMIUM Equity Partners will support the further growth of colour parts. In particular, the expansion of the sales organisation as well as capacity expansions with a focus on new customer acquisition and market differentiation are planned.
