GRUENDELPARTNER advises TGFS on NanoSen’s seed funding round
The Saxony Technology Start-up Fund (TGFS) is investing a seven-figure sum in NanoSen GmbH as part of a seed funding round.
NanoSen, a spin-off from Chemnitz University of Technology, specialises in the development of advanced solutions in the field of force sensing. The innovative PNC material is both piezoresistive and piezocapacitive, and its electrical conductivity changes when compressed. Its unique properties are characterised by exceptional flexibility and robustness, offering a long service life and high sensitivity whilst maintaining low energy consumption.
The TGFS is an equity partner in Saxony for the seed and start-up phases. The fund was first launched in 2008 by the Free State of Saxony and Saxon financial institutions and has since supported over 100 start-ups. In 2023, the TGFS launched its third fund generation.
