GRUENDELPARTNER advises TGFS on seed financing of NanoSen

Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen (TGFS) is investing a seven-figure sum in NanoSen GmbH as part of a seed financing programme.

NanoSen, a spin-off from Chemnitz University of Technology, specialises in the development of advanced solutions in the field of force sensors. The innovative PNC material is piezoresistive and piezocapacitive and changes its electrical conductivity when compressed. Its special properties are characterised by enormous flexibility and robustness and offers a long service life and high sensitivity with low energy consumption.

The TGFS is an equity capital partner in Saxony for the seed and start-up phase. The fund was first launched in 2008 by the Free State of Saxony and Saxon financial institutions and has supported over 100 start-ups since then. The TGFS entered its third fund generation in 2023.
