GRUENDELPARTNER advises TGFS on Sunmaxx PVT’s funding round

The Saxony Technology Start-up Fund (TGFS) and MAHLE New Ventures are investing a total of EUR 3.25 million in Sunmaxx PVT GmbH, based in Dresden.

The Dresden-based cleantech company was founded with the aim of completely decarbonising the electricity and heating supply for buildings, neighbourhoods and industrial sites. Its photovoltaic-thermal (PVT) solar modules offer a novel approach to the ‘heat transition’, which is currently still making slow progress.

This makes Sunmaxx PVT one of over 100 start-ups in the Free State of Saxony whose establishment and development have been supported by the TGFS funds since 2008.

GRUENDELPARTNER provided legal advice to the TGFS as part of this funding round. GRUENDELPARTNER’s M&A, Venture Capital and Private Equity practice group is one of the most experienced and largest advisory teams in Central Germany and supports investors and entrepreneurs through all stages of development, particularly in company formation, business development, corporate finance and all exit processes.
