GRUENDELPARTNER advises FIS on the sale of FIS-SST to Q_PERIOR

GRUENDELPARTNER advised FIS Informationssysteme und Consulting GmbH (FIS) on the sale of the Polish IT consultancy firm FIS-SST sp. z o.o., based in Gliwice, to Q_PERIOR AG.

FIS-SST employs more than 100 staff across three locations in Poland and specialises in IT services and digitalisation in the areas of Microsoft, Java and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS and GCP).

The Q_PERIOR Group, headquartered in Munich, is a management consultancy offering integrated business and IT services and solutions. Most recently, the Group, with around 1,350 employees, achieved an annual turnover of approximately EUR 234 million.

FIS, based in Grafenrheinfeld, acquired a majority stake in FIS-SST in 2008. Since then, the number of employees has risen from 20 at that time to over 100 today. The FIS Group specialises in SAP projects and the associated digitalisation of businesses, and employs over 800 staff.

In addition to FIS, the management has also sold the shares they held in Q_PERIOR.
