GRUENDELPARTNER advises on the sale of Strategy Compass GmbH to empower GmbH

Empower, based in Cologne and one of the leading providers of add-ins for the professional creation and distribution of documents in Microsoft 365, has acquired Strategy Compass GmbH.

Strategy Compass, based in Düsseldorf, is the developer of the renowned PowerPoint add-in QuickSlide. With this strategic move, empower and Strategy Compass are joining forces to offer their customers a comprehensive end-to-end solution that combines software, services and design. Both companies were founded in 2009 with the vision of simplifying work with PowerPoint. Since then, they have undergone impressive growth and, as a combined entity, now offer a comprehensive range of services for Microsoft Office applications, content and enablement services, as well as the new empower®AI Assistant. These services enable customers to realise the full potential of the software solution.

Following the merger, empower employs more than 130 staff and serves over 1,200 clients, including 50 per cent of DAX-listed companies.
