AviComp Controls GmbH, based in Leipzig, and the WMS Growth Fund for SMEs in Saxony have announced the successful completion of a capital increase. As a new shareholder in the group, WMS will support its future development.

With this investment, the WMS is sending a clear signal in support of Saxony as a hub for technology and industry. In recent years, AviComp has developed into an internationally active specialist in automation, control and monitoring systems. The group supports machinery and plant manufacturers as well as industrial operators worldwide in the digitalisation and automation of complex production and energy plants. Its core competencies include control and regulation systems for compressors, turbines and other demanding industrial applications, as well as digital solutions for condition monitoring and plant optimisation.

With this investment, WMS is once again investing in a Saxon SME that combines technological excellence, international competitiveness and sustainable growth prospects. For AviComp, this marks the start of the next phase of development on its path to becoming an even stronger international provider of automation and digitalisation solutions for industry.
