The organic food start-up Lunch Vegaz received a total of 2.5 million from Blue Horizon Ventures and GENIUS Venture Capital. Currently, Lunch Vegaz is the only company on the market that offers freshly-prepared dishes with only organic ingredients and without any additives, making it a healthy alternative to conventional ready meals.

Speed Care Mineral (www.speedcaremineral.de), which is based in Neubrandenburg, has developed an innovative dressing material under the name SpeedM™ for the rapid treatment of heavy bleeding caused by trauma.

ReHub GmbH has concluded its seed financing with the Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen (TGFS). ReHub, which is based in Leipzig and Reutlingen (www.rehago.de), is the developer of "Rehago", a virtual reality (VR) software designed to help hemiplegic people (e.g. after a stroke) in a playful way using digital mirror box therapy.

bm|t beteiligungsmanagement thüringen gmbh has acquired a 100% interest in the SAMAG group and has sold the majority of the machine tools unit to Hüttmann Machine Tools Beteiligungs GmbH, represented by Martin Hüttmann. The shareholding in SAMAG Machine Tools under the management of Mr Hüttmann will be continued.
