Nord HOLDING (Hannover) has acquired the majority shareholding in Dr. Födisch Umweltmesstechnik AG. The other new investor is WMS Wachstumsfonds Sachsen III (Leipzig). The Födisch family remains a substantial part of the shareholder group and will thus actively help to shape the future development of the group together with the new majority owners. The founder, Dr. Holger Födisch, will continue to lead the group as a member of the management board. The transaction is still subject to the approval of several cartel offices.
Dr. Födisch Umweltmesstechnik AG is a leading and independent corporate group specialising in applications in the fields of environmental, process and analysis technology in Germany. Dr. Holger Födisch, who founded the company in 1991, was honoured as Entrepreneur of the Year in 2019. The group currently has over 185 employees. In the past business year, the company achieved a turnover of around EUR 40 million.
