The growth fund Mittelstand Sachsen (WMS), set up by the Free State of Saxony and several Saxon savings banks for SME financing, acquires 25.1 percent of the shares in Taenzler Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH (TAENZLER) based in Laußnitz near Dresden.

Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen (TGFS) invests in 3dvisionlabs GmbH. The start-up from Chemnitz develops innovative camera technologies, which enable numerous new possibilities of the digitization in connection with AI methods. The founders see a reinforcement of the relevance of AI technologies in everyday life by creating new applications.

EASY SOFTWARE AG acquires a majority stake in Apinauten GmbH based in Leipzig and merges it with its cloud subsidiary. In a first step, EASY has acquired 72.3 percent of the shares - the aim is to achieve full integration by 2020.

Together with MS Industrie AG and MuM Industriebeteiligungen GmbH, the Growth Fund Mittelstand Sachsen (WMS) has sold the German pump specialist Zehnder Pumpen GmbH to the French SFA Group. Zehnder Pumpen GmbH, based in Grünhain-Beierfeld, Saxony, is a well-known manufacturer of pumps and pump systems for water supply and water disposal in apartments, houses and larger building complexes.

With a total of 66 national and international M&A and financing transactions in a total volume of more than 400 million euros, 2018 was the most successful year in the history of GRUENDELPARTNER's corporate transaction practise.
